Fitting & setup guide

  • Measure head circumference just above the ears and 2–3 cm above the eyebrows
  • Adjust padding first for comfort and stability, then tighten the retention system
  • For NVG use: ensure helmet sits level and does not shift during movement drills
  • After the first training day, re-check strap length and pad placement

Care & maintenance

  • Inspect after drops, strong impacts, or visible damage to shell, rails, shroud, or straps
  • Clean with mild soap and water — avoid solvents and aggressive chemicals
  • Store dry, away from heat sources and direct UV for prolonged periods
  • After a major impact, discontinue use and request inspection before reuse

No. The NV-3 is a non-ballistic bump helmet. It is designed for training environments and impact protection only — it provides no NIJ or STANAG ballistic protection.
