To ensure your ballistic equipment remains reliable and mission-ready, UNITAC™ PROTECTION s.r.o. provides professional inspection, maintenance and repair services for helmets and textile accessories.
General Information
Regular inspection and maintenance are essential to keep ballistic equipment performing at 100%. While service intervals cannot be strictly defined, we recommend a basic inspection every 2–3 years, or immediately if signs of wear or damage are detected.
In addition to routine maintenance, we offer repair services for wear, impact damage or functional issues affecting helmets and covers. Pricing is kept fair and transparent with the aim of extending the service life of your equipment whenever possible.
Scope of Service
- visual and structural inspection of helmet shells, rails and shrouds,
- inspection of hardware components (bolts, padding, retention systems),
- evaluation of cover fit and stitching integrity,
- minor repairs and replacement of worn or damaged components.
When Service Is Recommended
- after intensive field use or any form of impact,
- if cracks, delamination or loose hardware are visible,
- in case of compromised fit or worn pads and straps,
- as preventative maintenance every 2–3 years.

Important Notes
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications may compromise safety and void warranty coverage.
- Ballistic products that have been impacted by a projectile must be removed from service.
- Serviceability is always subject to technical inspection and safety assessment.
