UNITAC™ PROTECTION s.r.o. delivers products with a strong focus on maximum reliability and long-lasting durability. We stand by this commitment — that’s why we provide a limited warranty on all our ballistic products and textile accessories.
Warranty Overview
- Ballistic products: limited warranty up to 5 years from purchase (product-dependent).
- Textile accessories: 2-year warranty from purchase.
- Extended Replacement Program: +5 years immediate replacement for qualifying damage under program terms.
Warranty on Ballistic Products
- All ballistic helmets and ballistic materials are guaranteed to be free from defects for 5 years from purchase.
- If a defect appears, the product must be returned immediately for inspection and repair.
- If the damage is not caused by misuse or improper maintenance, the product will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
Warranty on Textile Accessories
All textile products (helmet covers) are covered by a 2-year warranty from purchase.
The warranty does not apply to damage resulting from misuse, improper handling, inadequate maintenance, or modifications.
Extended Replacement Program — Terms
- Coverage: immediate replacement for qualifying damage for +5 years beyond the standard warranty term.
- Exclusions: intentional damage, unauthorized modifications, and cosmetic wear that does not affect function.
- Process: submit photos and serial/Order ID; upon approval, a replacement unit is dispatched and the damaged unit is returned.
Program availability may vary by model or region. Detailed conditions are provided at purchase.
What the Warranty Covers
- material defects and manufacturing faults,
- construction or stitching errors,
- defects in fastening and mounting systems not caused by normal wear and tear.
If your model has been discontinued and replacement is required, we will provide a comparable equivalent.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
- normal wear and tear (scratches, fading, UV or moisture-related changes),
- damage from impact, dropping, or improper storage,
- intentional damage or interference by unauthorized persons,
- loss or theft of the product,
- cosmetic changes that do not affect functionality.
Claims & Return Process
- Email contact@unitacprotection.com with your order number, defect description, and photos.
- Send the product back for inspection.
- If valid, repair or replacement will be carried out free of charge.
- Original owners: shipping costs are included in the warranty.
- Secondary owners: warranty remains valid, but the new owner covers shipping costs.
Important Notes
- Any repair or modification by unauthorized technicians voids the warranty.
- If the ballistic shell is hit by a projectile, the warranty does not apply — the product must be retired.
- Not covered: misuse, improper use, inadequate maintenance, unauthorized modifications, or unauthorized dealers/technicians.
